Philantrophy Coordinator – Donor Engagement & Stewardship


About the Role
The Philantrophy Coordinator – Donor Engagement & Stewardship plays a key role in building and maintaining meaningful relationships with donors and supporters. This position is focused on enhancing donor experience through engagement, stewardship initiatives, and relationship-based communications that strengthen long-term commitment to the organization’s mission.

This is a relationship-centered role that collaborates closely with internal teams while maintaining a clear distinction from donation processing functions.




Key Responsibilities




  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors and partners
  • Lead donor stewardship activities, recognition, and engagement strategies
  • Coordinate donor communications, including impact updates and campaign messaging
  • Support engagement-driven fundraising campaigns and events (e.g., Giving Tuesday)
  • Manage donor engagement tracking and reporting through CRM systems
  • Prepare briefing materials and support leadership in donor engagement activities
  • Monitor donor trends, engagement metrics, and retention strategies

Qualifications & Skills




  • Experience in donor relations, fundraising, or community engagement
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with CRM systems (preferred)
  • Highly organized with strong project management abilities
  • Ability to work in a trauma-informed, culturally safe, and Indigenous-led environment
  • Understanding of the impacts of colonialism and Residential Schools is an asset

Term: Full-Time Term Position
Location: Can work out of one of the following offices - Vancouver, Kamloops, Prince George or Chilliwack
Salary: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 to start and will be dependent on skills and experiences.
Benefits: Annual Leave, Sick Leave, Cultural Days, Wellness Days, after 90 days - Employer paid benefits plan and GIA matched savings.
Status: Minimum 40-60% in office requirement.
Deadline: Until filled with a qualified and aligned candidate.
